July already? The 4th is the first holiday in the summer. Time for a family BBQ and picnic, travel, swim and blockbuster movies. And in NYC, summertime attracts crowds to visit the Highline…one of the most popular parks in the Meatpacking/Chelsea area, built on a former elevated railroad track with a fantastic view of the Hudson River. The panoramic scene is magnificent. The Highline is complete with entertainment, music performers, food vendors. You must try the coconut gelato from L’Arte del Gelato or the amazing duck sandwich from Terroir at The Porch, an open-air cafe. It’s the perfect spot to watch the fireworks light up the sky and glisten on the river.
